Terms of Service

These terms apply whenever you purchase or use a Marie Glow Studio service. They’re written in plain language rather than dense legal text, but are a starting template, not a substitute for review by a licensed attorney familiar with your specific business and location.

Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a service from Marie Glow Studio, or by using marieglowstudio.com, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t purchase a service or use this site.

Services

Marie Glow Studio provides web design and development (the Website Starter and the Complete Website & Brand Identity package, on Shopify or custom-coded), Pinterest marketing services (SEO audits, business account setup, and monthly management), and SEO and digital strategy services (the Website SEO Audit, SEO Foundations Setup, and the Digital Strategy Roadmap), as described in detail on each service’s own page. What’s included, timelines, and pricing for each service are as stated on that service’s page at the time of purchase.

Purchases & Payment

All paid services are purchased through Stripe, which processes payment directly. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Once purchased, you’ll receive instructions for completing an intake form; work begins once the required information and account access (if applicable) are received.

No Consultation Required

Most services can be purchased without a prior consultation. If your intake form indicates a different service would be a better fit, we’ll contact you before beginning any work.

Refunds & Cancellations

Refund terms vary by service and are stated on that service’s own page. As a general rule: one-time services become non-refundable once work has begun, and monthly management is billed in advance and is non-refundable once work begins for that billing period. Monthly management has no minimum commitment and can be canceled at any time for future billing periods.

No Guaranteed Results

We do not and cannot guarantee specific rankings, impressions, followers, clicks, traffic, or sales from any web design, Pinterest marketing, SEO or digital strategy service. Results depend on factors outside our control, including your niche, content, keywords, website, competition, and market conditions. Our focus is building strong, strategic foundations, not promising specific outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

Timely delivery depends on you providing the information, brand assets, feedback, and (where applicable) account access requested during intake. Delays in providing these may delay your project’s timeline.

Account Access

Some services require temporary access to your Pinterest, Shopify, website, scheduling tools, or Canva account. We use secure collaborator or delegated-access methods whenever the platform supports them, and access is used only to complete your purchased service.

Intellectual Property

Once a service is paid in full, you own the final deliverables created specifically for your project (such as your website files or custom pin designs). We may showcase completed work in our own portfolio and marketing unless you request otherwise in writing.

Limitation of Liability

Marie Glow Studio’s services are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Marie Glow Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
