This is a quick self check based on the areas our audit covers. It is not a full review and the score is not a Pinterest metric. Nothing you tick leaves your browser.

How to use this scorecard

Open your Pinterest account in another tab and answer each question honestly. If you are not sure, leave it unticked. That is usually where the work is.

What your score suggests

  • 0 to 4: the foundation needs attention. Getting the business account, profile and boards set up correctly comes before any pin work. Pinterest Business Account Setup is built for this.
  • 5 to 8: you have part of it. A full review shows which gaps matter most and in what order to fix them. That is what the Pinterest SEO Audit does.
  • 9 to 12: your basics look solid. The hard part now is consistency over months, which is where Monthly Pinterest Management fits.

Why these twelve

They map to where Pinterest reads keywords and decides what your account is about: the profile, board titles and descriptions, pin titles and descriptions, and the page each pin links to. Our guides cover each area in detail: profile SEO, board SEO and where to use keywords.

Not sure which service you need? The audit versus setup versus management comparison lays it out.

Frequently asked questions

What should my Pinterest profile include for SEO?

A business account, a profile name that includes a keyword people search, a bio that says plainly what you offer, and a connected website. Pinterest reads these words to understand what your account is about.

Do Pinterest boards need descriptions?

Board descriptions give Pinterest more words to understand the topic, so we recommend writing one for every board using natural sentences and your main keyword.

What size should Pinterest pins be?

Vertical 2:3 pins, such as 1000 x 1500 pixels, are the recommended shape.

Is this scorecard an official Pinterest score?

No. It is a quick self check based on the areas a Marie Glow Studio audit reviews. It does not measure your real performance.
